Circumstances of life can be challenging. How often have we found ourselves scratching our heads wondering what do I do now? How often have we cried out to God asking, “What do I do now?” If you don’t already know, one of my favorite stories in the Word is the story of Paul and Silas in prison. It continuously speaks to me. Here are two guys that stood for their conviction in the Word. They stood for Jesus at all cost. They declared that the Word of Jesus Christ would be their life mantra. They knew what so many of us forget, Jesus came to bring life!
John 10:10, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.
Paul and Silas knew this from experience. But they could have that experience based upon the foundation which they could draw upon…the Word. They could have life in it’s fullness because of their praise! You find yourself in circumstances that are challenging, it is time to get your praise on! Time to change your strategy! Instead of allowing the enemy to dictate your life course through your circumstance change your strategy. It’s not a circumstance, it is an opportunity for God to shine!
This video above, which I am trusting will play for you, will put things in perspective. I trust that it will challenge you in your perspective, challenge you how you respond to your “circumstance”. It is in these times that we will find that the enemy of our soul will do whatever he can to steal, kill and destroy our joy and take away our praise. A new strategy is required.
From this video we can see a new strategy was put into place. The enemy was not going to win! Your response, your strategy to the circumstance you find yourself in truly determines your outcome! Let it be your hearts cry to be like our four time cancer survivor! While she is walking out this circumstance she is going to impact those she comes in contact with for the Kingdom of God!
Your new strategy will get you through to other side of your circumstance. If we hold fast to the Word, He is faithful to His Word! Galatians 6:9,
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. “
Father I pray that when the schemes of the enemy causes my thoughts to focus on the circumstances and not on the opportunities for you to work that your Word will rise up in me. Help me not to “lean not to my own understanding” but to trust you in every situation, in every circumstance. Lead me to the place where I am no longer double minded with my focus on my circumstance and to your Kingdom.I declare that your Word is active and alive in me so that your plans and purposes will be accomplished for your Kingdom for my life and for others!I praise you in advance that my circumstance will lead others into right relationship with you, in Jesus’ name!
