Learning In Suffering

The book of Job serves as an incredible reservoir of encouragement, perseverance,faith and hope. While the account in Job can be haunting and sobering, it is a source of hope when grieving, suffering pain and confused with questions of Why me? How long?

We are familiar with the devastating loss suffered by Job. I cannot imagine the range of emotions and heartache Job must have experienced. The faithfulness of God shines through for Job. The strength that God provides is what sustains Job. We have much to learn from Job’s story.

As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause, who does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number Job:5:8-9

I invite you to journey with me in the exploration in the life of Job. It will be a hard, gut wrenching ride at times, but the eventual rewards will out weigh the pain.

Together we will get a better understanding of Job’s experience and how God restores, renews and even multiplies back to Job. Job’s testimony was clearly one of But God!
