“To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ”
2 Thes.1:11-12

We have been focusing on praying for our church and pastors. This week we pray that God would always be glorified in all things and Jesus’ name be exalted above all others. It is very easy to get caught up in the latest trend on building up your church, how to attract guests and keep them, but the key thing we need to be doing as a church is to pray.

Glorifying God and the calling He has placed upon us. Every Pastor and their body wants to make a difference in this world for God’s glory and purposes. God has a plan and purpose to see each of us to be successful in our calling.

Our prayer is that our hearts stay in tuned to your voice and leading, When the body prays for their pastors and the church overall, God can move in freedom. It is when we yield to God’s ways and thoughts that are greater than ours, that church can make an eternal impact. A yielded church is a sucessful church.

Let it be our hearts cry to not follow the voice of today’s culture. Pray that the church will be drawn to the voice of God no matter how it aligns with todays world. The church cannot be silent any longer!

Let God be glorified in all that we are and all that we do!
